Providing skilled physical therapy services to patients including all aspects of evaluation and treatment.
ResponsibilitiesAssesses and reassesses patient for physical therapy treatments.Assesses patients for age-appropriate behavior, motor skills, physiological, and psychological development.Provides, educates and documents physical therapy treatments to patientsDelegates treatments to Assistants, Techs and students through written and verbal communication including determining the skill level or competency required to provide treatment to best meet the needs of the patients.Initiates treatment plan, considering discharge needs, expected discharge functional status, and appropriate equipment and supplies.
