Our mining team of professionals located in Toronto, Vancouver and London provides mining companies with capital markets and financial advisory services. We are looking to immediately add a highly skilled analyst in Toronto that has the experience and desire to be a top performer in the sector. In return, you will be provided the opportunity for advancement and remuneration directly tied to your performance and not based on time served.
At Dundee Capital Markets:
? You will be assigned to the Mining Investment Banking Group in Toronto;
? You will work and report to the Head of Mining Investment Banking, Toronto;
? Be exposed to a variety of clients;
? Interact directly with clients and start working immediately on active mandates and,
? Work with top professionals that have a track record of success and are recognized as leaders in Mining Investment Banking (capital markets, corporate finance and M&A)
How You Will Contribute:
? Research and analyze clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and M&A opportunities;
? Develop valuation models of private and public companies as well as merged entities;
? Apply analytic tools to assess and properly value opportunities;
? Prepare precedent transactions and comparable company analysis;
? Interact directly with clients and execute transactions and
? Prepare client documents and presentations.
? Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration or other technical field.
? Relevant Investment Banking experience (Mining exposure is an asset);
? Exceptional financial/analytical skills and attention to detail;
? Ability to work well with peers and clients;
? Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision;
? Excellent oral and written communication skills; and
? Superior computer skills (Excel modeling skills, PowerPoint, Research, etc.).
